Who we are

Digital M (a trading name of Digital Management Ltd), 67 Meridian Centre, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 1UN, United Kingdom, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. For any data request, contact contact@digitalm.eu.

What we collect and why

If you contact us through the form or by email, we process the details you provide — typically your name, email, company and message — only to respond to you. We do not use them for marketing without your consent.

Cookies and consent

This site uses a single functional cookie to remember your chosen language, which is strictly necessary for the site to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. For audience measurement we use Umami, a self-hosted, cookieless tool that collects only anonymous, aggregated statistics (page views, country, device type) and cannot identify visitors — which is why it does not require consent. Any other non-essential cookies would only be set with your consent, via the cookie banner. If you reach the site from an ad shown in ChatGPT, the page address carries a click identifier provided by OpenAI (“oppref”). It is neither stored on your device nor linked to your identity: it is only sent back to OpenAI if you complete the check-up or book a call, to measure whether the ad worked — with no name, e-mail or IP address.

AI assistant

If you use the on-site assistant, the messages you send are processed by a third-party AI provider to generate a response. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.

Sharing

We share personal data only with the service providers that help us operate — our email provider, our hosting provider (OVH), and our AI provider for the assistant — and only as needed. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then delete them. Digital check-up (diagnostic form) answers are kept for at most 3 years after our last exchange, under a unique reference (e.g. DM-X4K7Q) you can quote to request deletion at any time. The associated IP address, collected under our legitimate interest (abuse prevention), is deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and object to it. Email contact@digitalm.eu. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, in the EU, your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Business-to-business prospecting

Digital M contacts businesses and trade professionals (restaurants, tradespeople, shops, accommodation and similar) to offer services related to their activity: websites, AI assistants, automation, security. Data processed: business name and trading name, legal form, registration number, address, coordinates, website, business email and phone, social-media links, and the public technical facts about your website (HTTPS, speed, structured data and so on) that make up the report we send you. Sources: the French national business register (annuaire-entreprises.data.gouv.fr, Sirene, open licence), OpenStreetMap (data © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), Companies House (UK), and your own website, read by our own tool while honouring its robots.txt and terms — we collect nothing from Google Maps, Pages Jaunes, LinkedIn or Facebook. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses whose activity matches them (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR / EU GDPR; for French recipients art. L34-5 CPCE; for UK recipients regulation 22 PECR does not require prior consent from corporate subscribers and regulation 23 gives you the right to opt out — sole traders and partnerships are not emailed without consent; for US recipients the CAN-SPAM Act: our emails are identified as advertising, carry a postal address and an opt-out honoured within 10 business days). We never email personal addresses, and we send at most two emails, then none without a reply from you. Recipients: Google Workspace (email), OpenAI (assisted drafting from technical findings only, never personal data), Google PageSpeed Insights (website speed test), OVH (hosting); Google Maps Platform, if we check your Google listing: we keep a listing identifier and the result of that check (listing found, website, hours, number of reviews and photos), never the listing's content. We log when the report we send you is opened (date, reference), without cookies. Retention: 3 years after our last exchange, or 12 months without a reply; IP addresses and their hashes are deleted within 12 months; your request not to be contacted is kept indefinitely on our suppression list, for as long as we prospect, so that it is honoured. You are informed in our first message and at the latest one month after collection; after that deadline without contact, a sole trader's data is deleted and a company's named contact details are erased. This processing is carried out by Digital Management Ltd (67 Meridian Centre, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 1UN, United Kingdom) from its French establishment (3 Résidence des Écoles, 09000 Ferrières-sur-Ariège); the competent supervisory authority for EU recipients is the CNIL, and for UK recipients the Information Commissioner's Office. You can object at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason, by replying STOP to any of our emails, by clicking the unsubscribe link, or by emailing contact@digitalm.eu; you also have the rights of access, rectification and erasure, and the right to complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or the ICO (ico.org.uk).
